How would you explain your life, health and otherwise, before joining Lean & Fit?

Before joining Lean & Fit I weighed in at 320 pounds. I had very poor eating habits and I never made the time to prepare healthy meals. I also ate out a lot more than I should have! Overall, it was poor decision that made my weight skyrocket. When I woke up in the morning I was in a lot of pain. My feet hurt and I walked with a limp because of my weight. I lived a sedentary life and anything physical made me tire extremely easy. I knew it was time to make change. I didn’t want to shop in the big and tall store or be known as ‘the big guy’.

How long have you been a member?

I have been a member at Lean & Fit since November 2015. I started off in the program on a 21 day promotion. After beginning, I was hooked and signed up to be a member and have been going strong ever since.

Why did you join the Lean & Fit program?

I have always seen the Lean & Fit program advertised on TV. I knew I wanted to try but didn’t have the courage to start. I thought that I was too big and too inactive to be able to keep up with the classes. Thankfully, I saw a 21 day promotion and finally made the move to start at John Savidis’ Lean & Fit.

How has this program changed your life?

This program has changed my life for the better. I am a new person and have lost 75 pounds. I now have the knowledge to know what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat. Leading a healthy lifestyle is a definite balance between the exercise you do and what you fuel your body with. I have a physical job and I feel like I can now be a better employee and I am not exhausted after a shift like I used to be. I am also able to chase after my son and I know he loves that I am a healthier and happier dad.

Has this program helped you with any health conditions?

I was on my way to developing a long list of health problems. There is a history of diabetes in my family and it was only a matter of time before a doctor told me I was diabetic. By joining this program, I am now much healthier and have significantly decreased my risk of diabetes and heart problems.

What do your friends and family think of your Lean & Fit success?

My friends and family are thrilled with my success. I think they can see that I am a happier and healthier person. It is really nice to run into old friends and they are shocked at my transformation. All the support and encouragement has made this process a lot easier and I have the motivation to keep going down my healthy path.

What would you like to say to people that are hesitant to join the Lean & Fit family?

I was very hesitant about joining the Lean & Fit family. I doubted my abilities and had some concerns about financing the program. We all struggle to pay all the bills and this was another expense I wasn’t sure I could add on my plate. The 21 day program sold me. I was able to see results quickly and that sold me. Making an investment in your health is an easy decision.

Have you met any new friends here?

I have met a lot of great people with this program. Everyone is there to exercise and support each other. You do not feel like anyone is judging you like other gyms. I was also lucky enough to meet my current girlfriend. It is nice to have somebody with a similar mindset that supports me every day through this journey. Things will definitely be easier with her by my side.

Have any staff members at Lean & Fit impacted you?

I can always count on the staff at Lean & Fit to help me with my exercises and meals. I’m sure some of them will tell you that I ask A LOT of questions, but they are always happy to help and support me with anything that I need. They also give me that extra push when I’m tired and don’t think I can do it.

What are your future goals?

I want to continue to be successful in this program. I will continue to exercise and be healthy. I look forward to increasing my strength and muscle mass and dropping my body fat percentage. Now that I have the tools to be successful, there’s no stopping me!
